i'm stranded during the hit of typhoon ondoy...

classes were suspended about 9:30 or 9:45 in the morning...
i'm a little bit disappointed because i left home early to do some assignments and my practice set in cost accounting...
and one more thing...
i'm preparing for BOGA's gift for maricar...
ne...
i went to lyka's boarding house to borrow slippers coz my shoes are so wet because due to heavy rains...
then i call home and told my mom that the classes are suspended...
she told me to go to trinoma so that we'll see there...
ne..
i went to cubao through the Lrt and go to EDSA to ride a bus to Quezon City Hall...
ne...
i'm very wet as if i took a bath under the rain...
ne...
when the bus reached national kidney... it stopped...
i decided to go back home so i took off the bus...
it was very hard to find for a passenger bus back to cubao...
so i decided to walk back to east ave and edsa and wait there for bus...
ne...
there were no buses on the highway...
so i walked and went to kamias to ride a jeepney to anonas...
ne...
i cross edsa...
duh...
there were no jeepneys going back to anonas...
so i went to my uncle's house and stay there for a while...
~~
i'm stucked there because i heard in the news that the flood rose high in marcos highway and marikina...
duh...
i have no way back home...
ne...
so i decided to stay there for the night...
the next day...
it was stated in the news that the flood did not subside...
it was around waist level from sta lucia to kingsville in the marcos highway...
no choice but the stay there again for another day...
i really prayed hard for the flood to subside so that i could go home the next day,,,
i really missed home...

my aunt texted me early in the morning that my father would fetch me...
duh...
so thankful!

going back home...
you can see the highway, so devastated...
duh...
full of dirt and dust...
mud at the side of the road...
garbages on the pink fences...
distorted pink fences...
when i reached our subdivision...
my feet are covered with dust...
thank God that the subdivision was not flooded...

i remember as i walk my way back home...
the saturday ondoy hit luzon,
i opened a daily inspiration quote app from facebook...
it told me there is no place like home...
parang pinatamaan ako eh!

so thankful but...
i found out that the dsl was not working at the time...
it went back to normal early this morning...
the landline is now working...

i'm really worried because the written report is due tuesday...
then i found out that there are no classes in tuesday...
my groupmate texted me that there's a quiz in cost accounting in wednesday...
there are no class for the financial management on wednesday...
and the written report will not be passed on tuesday...

haist...

tired of the usual student's life

i'm so tired of the usual way of living...
going to school...
copying assignments...
cheating when prof's not looking...

i admit that i cheat sometimes...
it's the usual way...
you can't survive without it...

yeah!
i seldom do it...
most of the time, i answer the questions by myself...
it's my own way of learning the lesson...

yet my classmates are still copying answers...
and earning high points...
and me?
the lowest in class (for today)

it's so disgusting how people do dirty things just to earn a lot of points...

others would tell me...
"why don't you cheat also?"

why?
because i want to learn...

it's just so sad that it's the grade that will count and not what you learn...
the school would only pass you if you get a good grade...
not because you have learned the lessons...

super dissappointing...

hope to be back with my previous classmates...
