Am I Being Troubled by Being Vocal of My Opinions, Thoughts and Feelings?

I have been very timid about my feelings especially to those who I consider not-so-close people to me...
But once they are close to me...
It has been very easy to tell or talk about what I feel...
But I talk about it cautiously...
Not telling all the things that I consider too personal to be talked in a conversation...
But I think my precautionary measures are below what is accepted by other people...
Because of this, I think and now I'm paranoid that someone I talked to got hurt with my words...

Knowing my personality, it would be too hard for me to apologize about it personally...
But I did it by text...
Though I did apologized through text, I would consider staying far away from that person..
That's obvious, I'm embarrassed and I don't want to have confrontation with that person in any way...

In the end, I will feel very paranoid not talking to that person...
I would even think that she would feel very angry or irritated by my presence...
That's how paranoid I am right now...

Living in a Box Part 1

Since my birth, I have been living in an enclosed box...
Always obeying my parents...
Always doing good things in their eyes...
Always aspiring good things for our family...

I never tried to disappoint them that I seldom commit mistakes in their eyes...
But now, now that I am at this point of life...
I am wishing of something...
I just want to peep out of the box and see the outside world...
I just try to do out of the good ways they see...
Sometimes I disobey them for my own satisfaction and happiness...
Like now, (watching video streams for more than an hour)..
If my mother is awake, she would probably talk out loud and say long litanies....
But I just want to see more...
For I can't escape of this enclosed box...
I just want to see more 'coz probably those things wouldn't happen to me this time or for a time being or even never (nosebleeds)..
Let me be in my fantasies right now!

Maybe it would take time to get off the box...
Maybe it would take the right time to go out there...
But I wish to do so...
I wish to experience the outside world...
I wish to be as normal as those people outside...
I wish to stop being a robot...
No emotions; and just a plain logical thing...

Filipinos should stop making excuses, admit their mistakes and try push themselves more to do better...

Try to read this blog post from Definitely Filipino
"Filipinos on News Events Part 2: Reaction to Daniel Wagner's "The Philippine Bus and Miss Universe"

I admit it myself that Filipinos are the ones being described at that post...
Me, myself, is guilty of that.. Whenever I fail an exam or quiz, I do make excuses to...
But since then, I learned to accept that it is really my fault why I failed...
I spend more of my time in front of the computer, visiting Facebook, playing online/offline games, or sleeping, when I can spend more of my time wisely by reading my books and studying...
Now, I'm trying to improve myself so that I wouldn't regret it again...
I promise myself to study harder than before...
seriously...

Another typical example are my friends...
They do mistakes in their college studies and I know that they regret that thing...
I won't tell what really happened to them, but for me, I would consider that mistake as a MAJOR MISTAKE COMMITTED BY A STUDENT WHO CAN DO MORE OF THEMSELVES...
Now, they promised to do more, study more, strive more..
But I notice that nothing have changed in the way they study...
They would typically doing everyday studies easily...
I don't see them pushing more than before...

Another example is one of my family member...
My father has no job right now...
He keeps on waiting for a job to come...
When I really felt bad and mad at him the last time...
He noticed that I wasn't treating him dearly for being my father...
I'm so angry that he don't made any move to improve our family...
He told me: Ano bang maggagawa ko, ganto ako, di naman ako nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral
Remembering those words makes me think that he don't want to change his own life...
I have seen many people like him but did make it to improve their living...

Another one is my brother...
He is really not good at school...
He admit it that he is not really good at studying yet he won't do anything to improve himself in school...

I just remembered another one...
I just met her through a facebook page that is dedicated to make condolences to the Hongkong people for the bus tragedy...
she's a Filipina...
I posted at that page's wall and said that I'm really sorry for what had happened to their fellow Hongkong citizens... I also wrote there that 'WE ADMIT IT THAT SOME OF OUR PEOPLE ARE AT FAULT...
she's to hot and harsh that she commented at me that I SHOULD ONLY ADMIT IT MYSELF... didn't I wrote the words SOME OF OUR PEOPLE?
and one more thing,
the first thing to forgiveness is to admit your mistake...
admitting your mistake is not the same as eating your pride...
for the sake of peace, I just removed my post and rephrase it by telling that I'm sorry for what had happened...

Enumerating those examples, I really did realized that it's typical among us, Filipinos...
We always commit mistakes, do excuses for our mistakes, and do nothing to improve ourselves...

I am just one among these Filipinos...
But I will strive to change that mentality...
I'll start it with myself and my family...

Hongkong Nationals WOULD be Discriminating to Take Personal Actions Againsts OFWs

I would understand if Hongkong Nationals feel the anger right now...
We would also feel the same if we are in your situation..
But to take it personally against the Filipino people is too discriminating...
You should not blame a whole nation for the action of one of its people...
Retired Police Mendoza is JUST ONE among the many Filipinos...
We admit it that our policemen are at fault..
BUT THEY ARE JUST FEW AMONG US...
Just take into consideration the service and care offered by Filipino Domestic Helpers there in Hongkong..
The way they treat your family as their own...
It would be really racially discriminating for them if you are to fire them just because of that hostage-taking event...
Let say this happened to Filipinos there in Hongkong...
OR
How 'bout the abuse and maltreatments suffered by OFWs there in Hongkong?
How would you feel if we are to do the same thing against your people?

I know and I understand that you are just agitated by the loose media coverage by the Filipino press..
We hear news about maltreatments suffered by SOME OFWs there in Hongkong but we remained calm and NOT discriminating...
We prefer to keep our silence and let the legal actions get justice for them...

In the end, I would say that
racism has no place in a civilized world

P-Pop featured in KMJS

P-pop feature in KMJS...
Here are they...

Xlr8...

They're more like a Korean-band...
sana more on Filipino touch naman...
yung tono pa ng kanta nila, ala-Korean talaga...

here's another one...

Pop Girls

from the same P-Pop records of Xlr8..
the way they dress, the way they dance is much more Korean..

sa totoo lang,
nakakarindi na marinig ung Korean-style music..
(sorry for k-pop lovers)

my classmate is a great addict of k-pops...
I can't barely understand kung bakit sila kaadik-adik...
sometimes I would even think that some k-pop songs are baduy!
minsan nga, I would notice that some male korean stars do look feminine... something like that...

Yeah! I admit it that I have been once a j-pop fanatic...
but ever since there were less-aired anime shows on television,
my j-pop addiction just turned down...

Did you notice it?
Korean culture has been invading our own culture through television...

siguro, if Korean Dramas would be less aired here in the Philippines,
then it would be at OPM's advantage...

I hate to say this, pero Pinoys are really "kulang sa originality"
I know this, because when I hear some Asian music or songs...
I could tell if it's Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese or Chinese...
alam mo yon?
yung naririnig mo palang yung music accompaniments ng kanta...
kahit di pa kumakanta yung singers...
alam mo na...
yung may distinctive characteristic ba!
j-pops are more on rock...
k-pops are more on dance...
c-pops are more on ornamental music...
yung ganon ba?

I just remembered...
A Korean Drama series aired in GMA7...
Glass Shoes...
The ending song is a Korean version of Regine Velasquez's Pangako...

sana ganon man lang...
di ba?
sana magkaroon man lang novelty ang mga Filipino songs and the Filipino music...

By the way, this post is not intended to discriminate any race...
The author does intend to express her feeling regarding the Filipino people's addiction to other Asian music rather than their own...

Thesis Mode...

My groupmates went here at home for two days...
They decided to go here because I'm the only one who has computer and has internet connection...
Sometimes, I would like to tell them that I'm not really agreeing to that decision; making the thesis here at home...
I can't tell them that, we have some financial problems..
And one more thing...
When they go here, instead of making the thesis...
Some would even just play...
Nothing happens...

My suggestion is to divide the activities among ourselves...
Then everyone is pushed to do their task...
After that, they will present their finished work to the group for review...
You would not even use a computer...
Just write your work on a piece of paper...

Di ba mas mabuti un?
Marami nang maggagawa
Di pa masyadong magastos...

Hay!
Ang hirap naman kasi...

Piles of Problems

Piles of problems on my way...
I'm so worried with my taxation class...
I just know the lessons from Chapters 1-4..
The last quiz was all about Chapter 1-6..
And I got a not-so-good grade...
Because of the not-so-good grade, I was pushed to borrow paluwagan's fund...
I paid the book to avail the plus points...
It just add up to my stress...

I've been thinking how will I able to pay my debts...
Especially the payment for the books...
Right now, I have already paid three books...
Including the one paid through paluwagan's fund...
All in all, I need to pay P2000+ for the books...

I've been also thinking about my mom's debt on the paluwagan's fund...
It's really accumulating...
It's now P1,500+

I'm really so stressed...

The midterms would be on Wednesday...
I need to read 40 Sections in law..
And three Chapters in AIS...

The next Sunday would be the midterms for Management Consultancy...
I have already read 3 chapters and I need to read 17 more...

Actually, the midterms is not the big problem but MONEY!

Often, the secretary of the class would approach me for the payment of the books...
I would just say some alibi...
I don't know how will I able to pay that thing...

I just can't tell my mom about that
She's thinking 'bout money problems too...

I wish I could be as innocent as toddlers...
not thinking bout piles of many problems...
They're so innocent..
Just playing around..

After the Sunday Mass, I went to my room..
I cried silently so that no one would notice...
I can't help but cry...
All the problems piled up...

I feel like pinagsakluban ako ng langit at lupa...

I have no one to run after...
No one to share my problems but this blog...
Hey, blog! How would you react 'bout my problems?
How would you deal with it?
As if you would answer me back in return...

Big Problem! Money!

Ang laki-laki ng problema ko sa pera...
Ang laki-laki ng babayaran ko sa libro...
P3,500..

Last week kasi nanghingi ako ang sinabi nia sakin...

Baka me kumuha sakin na magtrabaho dun online...

Hai...

Lime Juice is Really Doing Well...

It has been almost a month since I first use the Lime Juice in treating my pimple scars..
It really have a noticeable effect..
Just this Saturday, a friend noticed that my pimple scars are already disappearing...
Since my first use of this juice, I barely had any pimple breakouts...
One more thing. It's natural which means I wouldn't suffer from any side effects (except for the stingy feeling whenever I apply it)

Here's what I do:

Before Bedtime:
  • I first wash my face with lukewarm water then I wipe it with a clean towel.
  • I cut the lime into halves.
  • I extract the lime juice and put some on a cotton ball.
  • Then I wipe my face with the cotton ball.
Note: I usually sleep with the lime juice on my face.

In the Morning:
  • I wash my face again with lukewarm water.
  • Then I wash my face with cold water.
Note: Washing your face with lukewarm water will make your skin pores open. This will help you cleanse your face easily. After this, you should wash your face again, but this time, you should use cold water to close the skin pores.

I hope that this thing would be a great help to those people like me who has been suffering from pimples and pimple scars.

lime juice

I already stopped using maxipeel 2 for more than 2 weeks because my face always turns red whenever i use it. i also suffer from severe breakouts after using that astringent.

now, i'm using lime juice..
it's natural... hehe...
it's better
pimple breakouts subside and my skin is smoother than before...
i'm just hoping that pimple scars would lighten by using this...

A Reply to All...

This blog entry is a reply to this FB post:

Thanks everyone for having time to reply to my FB post!
I thought that if I post something like that, wala namang papansin because "I'm just Nobody."

There are points in time na lagi kong naalala yung mga bad memories ko since childhood, yung mga time na I felt everyone's looking down on me.

In my elementary days, I spend some of my time being bullied by elite girls from rich families. They told me that I'm Alicia and my friend is Betty la Fea.

I just remember that few weeks ago, while I'm walking nearby the house, I heard two girls riding on bikes talking to each other, telling, "Maputi lang!" Then I see their eyes looking at me. I turn around to look if ibang tao yung tinutukoy nila, but I see no one except me.

In all those times, I prefer to keep myself quiet na lang..
To avoid any commotion with those people..

Well, it's easier to forgive than to forget.

Maxi Peel

I started using Maxi Peel #2 two weeks ago...
And since that first day that I used Maxi Peel, my face experience redness and itchiness but I'm wondering why skin didn't exfoliate...
I tried using this product due to my desperateness...
I feel desperate of pimple scars and blackheads all over my face...

But one thing's good..
Maxi Peel made my skin smoother...
It popped out all my blackheads...
Now it has been easier for me to extract them (with the help of I-White)

But now, I'm cautious of going out without any sun protection because it stings!

Hope that my face would improve after 2 months of use...
^^,

Amen.

San Lorenzo Ruiz, Ipanalanging mo kami.
Beato Pedro Calungsod, Ipanalangin mo kami.

Presidentiables' Platforms

I know that everybody's very excited for the first automated election here in the Philippines (including me.) But before we grant our vote to a candidate, we should study first their platforms and plans for our country if they win the election. It's our obligation to scrutinize every single detail of every candidate's plans for our country, their track records and everything about them.

Since September when I registered myself in COMELEC, I've been really looking forward on studying every candidate's platform yet I didn't give time for it. Hehe. I admit that I spend most of my time in Facebook. But now, since election day is really near, I tried looking for every candidate's official website and read for their platform.

Right now, I've started reading every candidate's platform. I urge you to do the same.

Here are the official websites of all presidential candidates:
Aside from reading every candidate's platform from their own sites, I suggest that you read some information about them in their wiki pages and other reliable sites in the Internet since all things that you can read in their officials sites are all "pleasant."

~-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-~

By the way..
I'm so happy since I learned that I can vote...
Haha.
Recently, I tried to search for my name in the COMELEC's Online Precinct Finder. I didn't find my name on that online database. I tried to contact the COMELEC Office here in Antipolo but the numbers provided in COMELEC's site aren't working. So we decided to go to the COMELEC Office. Then I found out that my name is on the supplemental list. Learning about that, the officers there told me to tell the teacher in the polling precinct to look for my name in the supplemental list when I vote.

I suggest everyone who really wants to be part of Election 2010 to try looking for your names in the Online Precinct Finder (though officials in COMELEC Office insist that the Online Database isn't complete.) (Note: The Online Precinct Finder does not contain information on those voters who have registered themselves last December 2009.) If you can't find your name there, I suggest that you try all means to contact the COMELEC Office in your place by sending them e-mails, calling them by phone or visiting their office personally. Also, try to visit your polling precinct before the election day (especially those who are first-time-voters.)

big dissappointment... (cont. 03)

I just went to COMELEC Antipolo...
They couldn't find my name in their database...
Then they looked after my name on the supplementary list...
Luckily, they found my name there...

They told me to tell the teacher to look for my name in the supplementary list when I vote...

YES! I CAN VOTE!

4/14/2010

big dissappointment... (cont. 02)

ok... tried to look for the email of the officer in comelec antipolo...

no email address...

hai..

big dissappointment... (cont. 01)

right now, i tried the comelec office in antipolo, there are two contact numbers...
it tried to call both...
both numbers are not working...
hai...

big dissappointment...

i'm really disappointed at COMELEC...

i admit it...
i'm so excited for this coming election since it's my first time to vote and also it's the first time to have an automated election...

i have been reading many materials, webpages and comments about different candidates so that i would know who deserves my vote...

but this time, i tried to look after my precinct number using COMELEC's online precinct finder...
yah... well, i really know where my precinct number is since i have my acknowledgment receipt which was given to me when i registered last september 17, 2009...

i tried to look for my registration details there and here's what i've got:

Your registration details cannot be found in the COMELEC database.
Please make sure that you have entered the correct details.

If you think your registration record should be active, and this SEARCH facility gives you a negative result, please verify with the local COMELEC Office where you are registered. You may also send an e-mail to the regional office or provincial office which has jurisdiction over your city/municipality of registration.
Click the Search button to try again.

what the hell is going on?
i am not able to find my registration details on their database...

i tried to look for my mother and father's registration details..
and i find them...

then i tried to mispell my name...
(how come that would happen? i've been writing my name since long time ago.... i couldn't be wrong in writing my name!)
maybe the data encoder had some typographical error...

it yield only the same result...

by the way, there's a disclaimer on the online precinct finder

DISCLAIMER:

Data is based on the submissions of our field election offices after the 16 November 2009 ERB hearing. If you applied for registration last December 21, 22, 23, 28 and 29, 2009 your record is not yet included here.

but how could that happen?
i register at the COMELEC Office in September 17, 2009

how could this be happening to me?
i was there in the COMELEC office last September...
i was really so excited that day that i brought with me the only photocopy of my birth certificate and a copy of my school id...
actually, we all three are there...
we went there early in the morning that day..
we finished at noontime...
how disappointing...

well, right now, i'm finding some enough strength to call the COMELEC office in Antipolo to tell what happened...

my mother keeps on insisting that we go to the COMELEC office...

if you happened to be very excited for the incoming election. i tell you, try first to look after your registration details in COMELEC's database so that you'll know if you will be able to vote...

Why Does the Moon Turns Red?

My mother told us one night last holy week that she woke up in the middle of the night and saw the moon in reddish in color...
I remember that I also saw a red moon once when I was in high school.
It was 5:15 to 5:30 in the morning.
I remember its color being red to red-orange.
It was really spooky to see it red..
It is really big as if it's going to fall down on earth.
A very unusual thing to see.

I'm really curious about the red color...
How does the moon turn red?

I tried to search the Web bout this thing..
It turned out that the moon would most likely turn red during lunar eclipse...
And the dust and air pollution here on earth would cause it to be in reddish color.

These sites explains how it happens:
Why does the moon turn red?
Why does the moon turn red during lunar eclipse?

How do I curl my hair without the use of curler...

Most of the time, many people would ask me how do I get my curls...
I just tell them that it's natural.. (coz I do have a wavy hair)
The truth is I do the curls before going to school...

This thing really works on my hair...
I hope that It will work on you too...

The things you need are the following:
  • Setting Lotion
  • Baby Oil
Well, I'm really not using curlers or irons for cause it would really damage my hair...

Here are the steps:
  1. After bath, towel-dry your hair. (About 40-50% dry hair would do.)
  2. Comb your hair.Put setting lotion on your hair. (Make sure that you apply it to most of your hair.)
  3. Put small amounts of baby oil on your hair. (Make sure that you apply it to most of your hair.)
  4. Just let it dry naturally. (What I mean is: without the use of fan or blower. Just let it dry.)
  5. When its finally dry, put small amounts of baby oil on your hair.
  6. When applying the baby oil, crumple your hair like the way you crumple a paper. Repeat this step till you're satisfied. (Hope ya get what I mean.)
  7. You're now finished.
Hope this would work on your hair.

By the way, here are some of my pics.. if you just want to see the result...
