big dissappointment...

i'm really disappointed at COMELEC...

i admit it...
i'm so excited for this coming election since it's my first time to vote and also it's the first time to have an automated election...

i have been reading many materials, webpages and comments about different candidates so that i would know who deserves my vote...

but this time, i tried to look after my precinct number using COMELEC's online precinct finder...
yah... well, i really know where my precinct number is since i have my acknowledgment receipt which was given to me when i registered last september 17, 2009...

i tried to look for my registration details there and here's what i've got:

Your registration details cannot be found in the COMELEC database.
Please make sure that you have entered the correct details.

If you think your registration record should be active, and this SEARCH facility gives you a negative result, please verify with the local COMELEC Office where you are registered. You may also send an e-mail to the regional office or provincial office which has jurisdiction over your city/municipality of registration.
Click the Search button to try again.

what the hell is going on?
i am not able to find my registration details on their database...

i tried to look for my mother and father's registration details..
and i find them...

then i tried to mispell my name...
(how come that would happen? i've been writing my name since long time ago.... i couldn't be wrong in writing my name!)
maybe the data encoder had some typographical error...

it yield only the same result...

by the way, there's a disclaimer on the online precinct finder

DISCLAIMER:

Data is based on the submissions of our field election offices after the 16 November 2009 ERB hearing. If you applied for registration last December 21, 22, 23, 28 and 29, 2009 your record is not yet included here.

but how could that happen?
i register at the COMELEC Office in September 17, 2009

how could this be happening to me?
i was there in the COMELEC office last September...
i was really so excited that day that i brought with me the only photocopy of my birth certificate and a copy of my school id...
actually, we all three are there...
we went there early in the morning that day..
we finished at noontime...
how disappointing...

well, right now, i'm finding some enough strength to call the COMELEC office in Antipolo to tell what happened...

my mother keeps on insisting that we go to the COMELEC office...

if you happened to be very excited for the incoming election. i tell you, try first to look after your registration details in COMELEC's database so that you'll know if you will be able to vote...
